Group Guidelines

We have decided to call these guidelines for the simple fact we don’t like rules and we want to be able to remain flexible to our members needs. Because these are called guidelines, make no mistake, these guidelines will be closely adhered to at all times. The protection, safety, and comfort of our members will come above all other concerns. If you have a question, just ask. We always want to know your thoughts.

  1. FightclubOhio is demographically geared for new/beginner kinksters with an active or passive interest in BDSM or any fetish lifestyle.

  2. When attending Munches, Parties (known as “Eat & Beats”) or group outings you must email an RSVP or risk being turned away at the event due to space or reservation limitations.

  3. FightclubOhio does not condone or allow intolerance of any sexual orientation, gender presentation, age, or individual preferences. If anyone in the group is behaving inappropriately towards you or harassing you, it should be brought to the immediate attention of the council and action will be taken.

  4. FightclubOhio was formed to help kink friendly people to grow and find support in an environment of our peers. We hope that this group will help people enter the scene and establish strong roots in the larger BDSM community.

  5. To become a member of our public email discussion list, simply click on the link from our website. You will be asked to provide basic information such as first name or screen name. To become a member of the FightclubOhio group itself, there is a more rigorous screening process involving a more comprehensive member questionnaire. This includes giving us your full legal name and address — but it is shared only with the council and this is for the security of all members.

  6. The public mailing list is a place to ask questions and get to know the group. We encourage open and honest discussion on all topics. However, disrespecting others and their views or opinions in a malicious way will get you removed from the list and possibly banned from functions.

  7. The guidelines of Safe, Sane, and Consensual or Risk Aware Consensual Kink should always be one’s focus in any play or group situations. The universal safe word for our group and most of the BDSM community is Red.

  8. As in any situation, please be respectful of individual feelings, property (human and non-human), ages, kinks and persuasions. Adhere to the group guidelines but when in doubt on any issue ask one of the members of the council.

  9. FightclubOhio play party events are alcohol and drug-free — No substances will be tolerated. This rule will be strictly enforced at all times with alcohol being the only exception at our munches, which may take place at a restaurant or other establishment licensed to sell liquor.
