Fightclub Ohio Parties

Our “Eat and Beat” parties begin @ 7:00 on the 4th Saturday of every month. The evenings’ schedule goes as follows:

• 6:30 8:00 Arrival/Food/Fellowship
• 7:00 8:00 (Even Months) a FightclubOhio Membership Meeting.
• 8:00 9:00 Demonstration/Seminar (if scheduled)
• 9:00 Open Play

Our Eat & Beat parties start out as normal potlucks — everyone dresses pretty normally at first and brings a snack, dish or dessert to share. For the first part — say, the first hour or two — it’s just like any ordinary vanilla party. We eat, socialize, and catch up. Pretty much your basic potluck/dinner party, except that there’s no alcohol and sometimes the conversation can tend towards the kinky side. “Normal” dress for the first part of a play party generally equates to whatever you would wear for a Munch or to dinner at a friend’s house or to a family-friendly restaurant.

On even months, (February, April, etc) one of our FightclubOhio council members lead a membership meeting which give our members an opportunity to discuss any issues or concerns they may have, as well as conduct any club business (including, but not limited to locations for future munches/parties, review of the Council Meeting minutes, etc.)

After we have eaten and gotten to know everyone and feel comfortable, we usually go down into the dungeon or playspace. At that point, some people may change into scene or fetish attire (whatever that means to them — can be a furry animal costume, baby clothes, drag attire, etc), or all black clothing (or they may have arrived in all black clothing), or whatever they feel comfortable wearing. At some play parties we’ve attended, people changed into lingerie or revealing/semi-nude attire — whatever your kink is, that’s cool with us. And if you don’t want to change clothes at all, that’s okay too.

At this point during FightclubOhio parties, we try to hold a kink-related seminar or demo — an educational demonstration of different types or techniques or styles of play. Examples of past demos include tattoo caning, takedown scenes, Japanese rope bondage, needle play, fireplay, inverted suspensions, and many others based on requests. The demos usually give people a chance to see something in action, learn the basics of how it is done, get some tips or techniques, and sometimes there’s a hands-on component where volunteers get to try doing something on someone right then and there.

After the demos, we open the dungeon or playspace to open play in pairs or small groups. People may decide to negotiate a Scene (or they may have pre-negotiated a Scene). They may then use some of the bondage equipment/furniture/fixtures to tie someone up or otherwise restrain them for the scene. You can view some of the furniture available for use at parties HERE. There can be no sex or penetration, but there may be nudity or partial nudity. You may get to see all different kinds of play, and you may get new ideas for your own play. If you feel safe and comfortable, you may want to ask someone to play — or perhaps someone might ask you to play. It is VERY much your choice and your decision — if you don’t feel comfortable, just say no, not right now, or not tonight! If you have questions, or for whatever reason you need help at all, PLEASE let a member of the Fightclub Council or a party host know right away!

At any point in time, you are always welcome to go back upstairs into the more ‘vanilla’ portion of the house to snack or just relax. You may also want to do your scene negotiations upstairs, where you can have some privacy to talk. And, after playing you may want to take your partner upstairs for Aftercare where there are fewer people and it may be easier to relax and ‘come down’ from the scene.
